How much do you charge? Do you have packages? Is the cost of counselling deductible?
The cost of counseling is an investment in your psychological well being.
I am committed to doing what ever I can to make it work for you!
- My fees are based on Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association guidelines for accredited, professional counselling therapists with Master's degrees.
- Fees depend on the time involved and the type of service you need. For example, individual or family counselling, report writing, email counselling, etc. The first step is for us to determine if my services are appropriate for you. If you decide that you could benefit from my services, we can discuss fees and counselling options.
- Cost saving customized packages are available for blocks of sessions paid in advance.
- Counselling fees cover sessions, brief phone calls or emails, handouts and all taxes.
- You can deduct the cost of your counselling sessions as a medical expense on your annual income tax return.
- Some extended health plans and insurance plans will pay for part or all of the services of a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC). Check with your employer or insurance provider prior to booking an appointment to find out if you are covered.
- I offer limited sliding scale fees based on financial hardship and availability of space. Sliding scale fee requests must be made before the first session is booked.
